Bursaries for Redevelopment Training

North Belfast Partnership through the Urban II Community Initiative invites you to apply for bursary awards for the BURA Northern Ireland Regeneration Training Programme.

  • DID YOU KNOW THAT BURA HAVE DEVELOPED A PRACTICAL AND INFORMATIVE PROGRAMME SPECIFICALLY FOCUSING ON URBAN REGENERATION IN NORTHERN IRELAND?
  • INTERESTED? BUT CAN’T AFFORD IT? THEN THIS COULD BE FOR YOU!!

North Belfast Partnership, through the Urban II Community Initiative, are in a position to offer a small number of bursaries for community practitioners in North Belfast.

Bursaries are offered for places on BURA’S NORTHERN IRELAND REGENERATION TRAINING PROGRAMME. The bursaries will be offered in 3 areas-

  • BURA Course- Funded at 95%
  • Post Graduate Qualification- Funded at 90%
  • BURA Networking Conference- Funded at 50%

Qualification for the Post Graduate and Networking opportunities are dependent upon acceptance to the BURA course. The additional cost for each element must be met by the individual, or their representative organisation.

The programme begins on 26 September 2006, and will take place at the offices of the NIHE. The course will give a highly comprehensive look into Urban Regeneration over ten modules. Each module is a one day course per consecutive month and is taught by highly acclaimed tutors. For further details on the course, please consult BURA’s website at www.bura.org.uk.
