The B&Q You Can Do It Awards are launched every January, and 20 awards worth £5,000 of B&Q products are donated to community and charitable organisations across the UK and Ireland.
The B&Q 'You Can Do It' Awards form one element of the company's long established community programme.
The awards aim to play a key part in helping local communities create inclusive and sustainable projects to be proud of; for example giving new life to a community centre, local sports club facilities or after school club.
Apply for a B&Q 'You Can Do It' Award from Monday 16 January 2006. Download the application form here (pdf). Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 17 March 2006.
Any community-based organisations such as charities, disability, environmental, sports and youth groups are eligible to apply.
Since the Awards were launched in 1995, over £1 million worth of B&Q products has been awarded to over 200 community groups across the UK and Ireland.
