Job Ready - Trainee places available!

What is it?

Job Ready is a training programme to help young people develop the skills and qualifications to find the job they want. Opportunity Youth’s training style is very different – our sessions are fun, active and innovative.

Our programme is led by youth workers – other young people who have a lot in common with the trainees. We want to give young people an opportunity to gain the skills and qualifications that employers look for.

Who can benefit?

• You have left school, or are about to leave full time education.
• You are between 16-18yrs
• You aren’t able to find employment, or are unsure of what job you want to do

What’s involved?

• Training to give the confidence needed to find a job
• Job sampling and work placement experience
• Qualifications in Youth Work and Life & Work skills
• Learning through sports, activities and fun
• 52 week training course
• A training fee of £40 a week
• Cash bonuses 4 times a year
• Travelling expenses/Childcare may also be paid
