Leadership journey reaches half way point

NICVA Small Logo

NICVA, in conjunction with the International Fund for Ireland (IFI), is currently running the £2.1 million Community Leadership Programme for Northern Ireland and the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland. The 2009 Programme, which was officially launched in January 2009, is now at the half way point. Twenty seven groups are currently in the scheme, with recruitment for year two already underway.

All 27 groups have been working with their facilitator for 6 months developing their leadership skills and preparing to undertake small community projects. Also at this important mid way point, NICVA has organised roundtable events to bring clusters of groups together in order to network.
