The Big Lottery Fund will launch its new programmes for Northern Ireland in the Spring of 2006. Awards for Awards will also see an increase in the grant range to a new maximum of £10,000.
Open Grants ProgrammeThe Big Lottery Fund will launch a new demand led programme in the Spring of 2006 with a budget of £18m and a grant term potentially of up to 5 years.
Two further strategic programmes will also be launched although the detail of these is yet to be released. Each of these programmes potentially in the areas of (i) healthier and safer communities and (ii) Community Learning and Well Being will have a budget of £18m.
A further programme in the area of minor works/refurbishment will have a budget of £5m. This programme will not cover new build programmes.
It is not recommended that you contact the Big Lottery Fund regarding these programmes until more detail is announced in the New Year. Programme titles are for working purposes only and may change.
