The aim of this call for proposals is to support the operating costs of organisations which submit a work programme to develop activities in the field of gender equality between women and men, including activities concerning “Trafficking in women”.
The call is intended to complement the range of instruments currently available in the EU to promote gender equality, including those that prevent and combat trafficking in women, in particular, by reinforcing the capacity of NGO's or equivalent organisations working in the field of trafficking in women to create/strength networking and to facilitate transnational exchange, transfer of information, experience and good practice.
The Commission intends to focus the Community support towards operating costs around the following objectives:
The results will have to be widely disseminated by the beneficiaries of the grant. Priority for funding will be given to proposals addressing the theme: "Trafficking in women"
The Commission proposes to co-fund one operating grant up to a maximum of €350,000.
The proposals must be sent to the Commission not later than 15 February 2006
Transnationality
Actions under this call for proposals must be transnational in scope and be implemented by actors established in at least three (in total) Member States of the European Union.
