HURT (Have UR Tomorrows)

Aims and Objectives

HURT is a suport group for those with drug and alcohol problems and also their families. The drop-in centre provides a range of services to assist families and substances users to reach the road to recovery including:-

1) A confidential telephone helpline
2) Listening ear service
3) Counselling service
4) Website facility with information and a question and answer facility
5) Complimentary therapies including
-Auricular Acupuncture- which reduces cravings & withdrawal symptoms and reduce levels of anxiety.
-Reflexology
-Indian Head Masage
-Reiki
all of which promote relaxation amongst substance users and family members.

Ther services include:-
-Outreach work - providing information about HURT services, drug awareness information and also Harm reduction information.
- NEW - OCN accredited Drugs and substances course (both level 1 and 2).
