SkillsActive is the SSC for Active Leisure and Learning.
It has been established by Employers in Sport and Recreation, Health and Fitness, Playwork, The Outdoors and Caravan industries. Its members range from small family-run caravan parks to large multi-national health and fitness chains.
SkillsActive consults employers on the skills they need for their workforce and will produce a Sector Skills Agreement between employers, the Government, funding partners and training providers to ensure those needs are met.
